As part of a new partnership, TIB will collaborate with the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) in the future. As a Major Development Partner, TIB will contribute to the work of PKP both financially and through its own work, especially in software development. The partners also want to start new projects together. One focus is on the adaptation of Open Journal Systems for conference publications.

Im Rahmen einer neuen Partnerschaft arbeitet die TIB künftig mit dem Public Knowledge Project (PKP) zusammen. Als Major Development Partner beteiligt sich die TIB sowohl finanziell als auch durch Eigenleistungen, insbesondere bei der Softwareentwicklung, an der Arbeit von PKP. Die Partner wollen auch gemeinsam neue Vorhaben starten. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Anpassung von Open Journal Systems für Konferenzveröffentlichungen.

TIB is about to launch a new open access service on which scientific journals and conference publications can be published. In doing so, it is underlining its orientation towards Open Access and adding a significant new pillar to its activities to support the transition to Open Access. As a research partner, TIB is committed to professional, optimally accessible and widely visible publications.
