Das Blog der TIB – Leibniz-Informationszentrum Technik und Naturwissenschaften und Universitätsbibliothek
Im Frühjahr 2014 ging das AV-Portal online und wurde durch die yovisto GmbH betrieben und nach Spezifikationen der TIB ausgebaut. Ende 2020 wurde das Portal vollständig an die TIB migriert. In diesem Beitrag werden die wichtigsten Meilensteine und Features vorgestellt, die seit September 2018 realisiert wurden.

Semantic Publishing is a new open-source software research project contributing to the techstack for the creation of multi-format textbooks. A new generation of textbooks that includes modern Open Science digital objects, has semantic layers for structure and meaning, and packaging for interoperability. We are focusing on a specific book type ‘the textbook’ as an integrated part of MOOCs. The project is based at the Open Science Lab – TIB and contributes to the German consortium of the National Research Infrastructure for Culture (NFDI4Culture).

After presenting the strategic and conceptual orientation of our new open access publishing platform, this article introduces the technical aspects and the hosting infrastructure.

Die neue Open-Access-Publikationsplattform der TIB bietet Publikationsdienstleistungen für Journale und Konferenzveröffentlichungen und implementiert dabei internationale best practises basierend auf dem DOAJ Seal, den Mitgliedschaftskriterien der OASPA, Plan S und COPE.

Die TIB startet eine neue Open-Access-Plattform, auf der wissenschaftliche Zeitschriften und Konferenzpublikationen veröffentlicht werden können. Damit unterstreicht sie ihre Ausrichtung auf Open Access und ergänzt die Angebote zur Open-Access-Transformation um eine maßgebliche neue Säule. Als Partner der Forschung setzt sich die TIB für professionelle, optimal zugängliche und weithin sichtbare Veröffentlichungen ein.

TIB is about to launch a new open access service on which scientific journals and conference publications can be published. In doing so, it is underlining its orientation towards Open Access and adding a significant new pillar to its activities to support the transition to Open Access. As a research partner, TIB is committed to professional, optimally accessible and widely visible publications.
