Exactly 10 years ago, on 29 April 2014, the TIB AV-Portal went online. This has of course already been mentioned several times in the anniversary announcement and in this blog post series – collected under the keyword #10JahreTIB_AVPortal. Now the time has come: THE video platform from science for science is officially 10 years old!

Vor exakt 10 Jahren, am 29. April 2014, ging das TIB AV-Portal online. Das wurde in der Jubiläumsankündigung und in dieser Blogpostreihe – unter dem Schlagwort #10JahreTIB_AVPortal versammelt – natürlich schon mehrfach erwähnt. Nun ist‘s soweit: DIE Videoplattform aus der Wissenschaft für die Wissenschaft ist offiziell 10 Jahre alt!

Am 10. April 2024 fand das Kick-Off-Event der Landesinitiative Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM) Niedersachsen Säule 2 statt, bei dem das Joint Lab Future Libraries and Research Data von TIB und HsH (Hochschule Hannover) das Konzept des künftig stattfindenden Data-Steward-Stammtischs vorstellte.

Die dynamische, funktionale Portal-Entwicklung der vergangenen zehn Jahre ist beachtlich sowie gegenwärtig und auch zukünftig vielversprechend. Nutzungsfreundliche Features sind toll, ein Repositorium wird jedoch zuvorderst durch möglichst attraktive und relevante Inhalte wertvoll und genutzt. Dieser Beitrag porträtiert den Aufwuchs recherchier- und nutzbarer Wissenschaftsvideos und das Genrespektrum im TIB AV-Portal, garniert von Einblicken in die redaktionelle Kuratierung des Contents.

Das TIB AV-Portal, das Videoportal der TIB, feiert in diesem Monat sein 10-jähriges Jubiläum. Das ist für uns eine schöne Gelegenheit, um mit Magret Plank und Matti Stöhr über das Portal zu sprechen. Margret Plank ist als Leiterin des Labs Nicht-Textuelle Materialien von Anfang an für das TIB AV-Portal verantwortlich, Matti Stöhr begleitet es seit Mai 2020 als Community Manager.

The TIB AV-Portal, the video portal of TIB, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month. This is a great opportunity for us to talk to Magret Plank and Matti Stöhr about the portal. As head of the Lab Non-Textual Materials, Margret Plank has been responsible for the TIB AV-Portal from the very beginning, while Matti Stöhr has been supporting it as Community Manager since May 2020.

Der Internationale Tag der Mathematik am 14. März steht dieses Jahr unter dem Motto „Spiel mit Mathematik“. Aus diesem Anlass werfen wir einen Blick, wie Forschende der algebraischen Geometrie schon seit 2008 zusammen“spielen“: Mit dem Stacks Project haben sie über die Jahre ein umfangreiches Open-Source-Referenzwerk zum Thema Algebraische Stacks zusammengetragen.

#10YearsTIB_AVPortal – this is an ideal occasion for us to look back on an intensive and lively 10 years. From now on, and especially in the anniversary month of April, we want to celebrate the TIB AV-Portal together (!) with a variety of activities and campaigns. This can of course be seen and experienced in the portal itself, as an “information hub” here in the TIB-Blog and far beyond.
