Ein Nachbericht zur 2nd Conference on Non-Textual Information „Software und Services for Science (S3)“ – 80 Fachleute trafen sich am 10. und 11. Mai 2017 in Hannover zum Thema wissenschaftliche Software.
➔In the context of the Specialised Information Service Mathematics, a web service was developed (the Tempas TimePortal) that links the temporal development of software websites to the actual software program. In the database for relevant software in mathematics swMATH, the integration of the TimePortal now enables users, on the basis of the website, to track the status of the software program at the time when a scientific article referring to the software was published.
➔Im Rahmen des Fachinformationsdienstes Mathematik wurde ein Web Service entwickelt (das Tempas TimePortal), der die zeitliche Entwicklung von Software-Homepages mit der eigentlichen Software verknüpft. In der Datenbank für relevante Software in der Mathematik swMATH bietet die Integration des TimePortals jetzt die Möglichkeit, den Stand der Software zum Zeitpunkt einer wissenschaftlichen Veröffentlichung, in der die Software erwähnt wird, anhand des Internetauftritts nachzuvollziehen.

Forschungsinformationen und speziell die zur Präsentation und Verwaltung dieser Informationen entwickelte Software VIVO wurden hier im Blog TIB in den letzten Jahren schon mehrfach thematisiert. Die TIB stellt ihre Forschungsaktivitäten mit VIVO dar und fördert die Weiterentwicklung von VIVO durch eine Mitgliedschaft bei DuraSpace.
